The course “BIM with Autodesk Revit – Level 1”, organized by the European digital innovation hub (EDIH), will begin on June 2 in our training room and will run for a total of 10 days or 40 hours. The training is conducted in person, and its main goal is to enhance the qualifications of construction professionals by teaching them how to use Building Information Modelling (BIM) with Autodesk Revit in the investment process.
The course provides best practices for integrating BIM workflows in Autodesk Revit and includes a brief introduction to core processes, work methods, element types, and tools. Participants will acquire foundational knowledge to help them further develop their skills in BIM. The course is intended for architects, civil engineers, and MEP (HVAC and plumbing) engineers who are beginner-level Autodesk Revit users and have basic skills working with the software.
BIM-related trainings (short for Building Information Modelling) represent the largest category—20 in total—in the EDIH service catalogue. In practice, BIM spans the entire lifecycle of buildings—from design, through construction management and operation, to eventual demolition and waste recovery. In this sense, BIM is a key element not only for digitalizing the construction sector but also for advancing the circular economy in Bulgaria. The specialized BIM courses provide essential knowledge and skills for working with software that supports the entire construction investment process.
The “BIM with Autodesk Revit – Level 1” course consists of 14 training modules, evenly distributed over the period June 2–13. The lectures include both theoretical and practical content, along with real-world examples and best practices.
