The EDIH course on energy efficiency using the ETICS system will begin on June 18 in Elin Pelin

The European digital innovation hub (EDIH) in the construction sector will hold a course on energy efficiency using the ETICS system at the Baumit Bulgaria vocational training center in Elin Pelin from June 18 to 20. The training will last a total of 21 hours, will be conducted in person, and will cover knowledge and skills related to integrated thermal insulation systems (ETICS), which contribute to creating a healthier and more comfortable living environment.
The training is intended for architects, engineers, employees of design firms, construction experts, and workers from construction and supervision companies. Participants may include employees of small and medium-sized enterprises in the construction sector, small companies with medium market capitalization, as well as individuals from public sector organizations (for their non-economic activities).
The lecturers are experienced specialists with proven expertise in working with integrated thermal insulation systems. The 3-day course includes both theoretical knowledge and practical training in energy efficiency using the ETICS system.
The theoretical part covers relevant regulations, surface inspection and preparation, the types of ETICS systems, the impact of environmental conditions on application quality, common installation errors, and post-application quality control.
The practical sessions focus on surface preparation, component and accessory use, and application sequencing. Participants will develop skills for applying coatings and paints on various surfaces, assessing the impact of indoor conditions on the quality of application, and performing quality control. The practical training will be carried out using innovative materials, technical equipment, and professional tools.
