Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Ventsislav Stoyanov is lecturer in the Department of Construction Technology and Management at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of VSU Karavelov”- Sofia since 1996. Lead Lecturer in disciplines in the field of organization and management of construction in bachelor's and master's courses.

Biography

Scientific Supervisor of two and co-supervisor of three doctoral students developing dissertations in the field of technology, organization and management of construction. Scientific supervisor to two graduate Doctors in the scientific field 5.7. “Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy”. Head of more than 150 graduates in the field of “Organization and management of construction”.

Member of the scientific jury for awarding the scientific and educational degree “Doctor” to 8 doctoral students from VSU “L. Karavelov”, UACEG and other Universities.

Founder, leader and lecturer in the master’s program “Investment Project Management” at the SF of VSU “L. Karavelov” since 2001.

Deputy Chairman of the General Assembly of VSU “L. Karavalov” from 2022, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of VSU “L. Karavelov” from 2017 to 2021, Head of the Department of Construction Management from 2009 to 2013 and Head of the Department of Construction Technology and Management from 2016 to 2021.

Doctor of Science in Architecture, Construction and Geodesy – “Organization and management of construction” with over 40 scientific publications in the field of organization and management of construction.

Co-founder and member of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Association for Construction Project Management (BACPM).

Chairman of the Sectoral Consultative Council “Construction” – 2018 at the Bulgarian Construction Chamber (BCC).

Member of the Chamber of Investment Design Engineers (CIDE) with full design qualifications, with more than 50 significant projects in the field of construction organization.

Main directions of scientific and applied activity: organization and management of construction, project management in construction, digitalization in construction management, etc.
