About 1050 buildings are to be renovated by mid-2026 with more than 1 billion leva under the Recovery and Resilience Plan. This became clear during a working meeting of the Board of Directors (BoD) of the Association “European Digital and Innovation Hub in the Construction Sector” (EDIH in the construction sector) with the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works – Ms. Angelina Boneva and the leadership of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber (BCC). The meeting was held on 18 December 2023 at the headquarters of the BCC, which houses the Association “EDIH in the construction sector”

On 18 December, the last General Assembly of the European Digital and Innovation Hub in the Construction Sector (EDIH in the Construction Sector) was held at the Bulgarian Construction Chamber. During the meeting, Mr. Martin Iliev, Manager of Planex Ltd. was unanimously elected as a new member of the Board of Directors (BoD) of the Association. He replaces the current member of the Board of Directors, Eng. Hristo Dimitrov, who was elected Chairman of the Varna City Council.
